The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce along with other local chambers held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Complete Staffing. Complete Staffing provides employee outsourcing services for numerous job markets, our clients and personnel placements include; petro-chemical, medical, IT, accounting, administrative, professional, warehouse, skilled & unskilled laborer and local manufacturing. Congratulations to the West Orange Stark MIGHTY MUSTANG football team for making it to the state championship game. We wish the coaches and players the best of luck! They frame most anything you can think of. Services include diploma framing, custom picture framing, shadow boxes and canvas stretching just to name a few things. Merle NormanA ribbon cutting ceremony was held by the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce for Merle Norman. Laurah Rodgers has owned the cosmetic business for 5 year. Merle Norman specializes in make up artistry and facial services keeping Orange beautiful for over 50 years and is located at 2224 Macarthur Drive Orange, TX. School District Employee of the Month
The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce recognized Jeanie Istre as the School District Employee of the Month for November. Jeannie Istre is West Orange – Stark High School’s Literacy Coach. Primarily, she assists in the support of teachers. Additionally, she works in the development, alignment, articulation, and evaluation of the curriculum; as well as assisting in the alignment of instructional strategies, resources, assessments and staff development. She is also involved in tutoring senior students before, during, and after school. Mrs. Istre comes early to work and stays late. She serves on multiple student and teacher support committees.
Student of the Month
Javiery Vindel was announced as the Student of the Month by the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Vindel is described as a hard working student and a strong lady who has overcome and persevered through so much. She is involved in National Honor Society, Key Club, and has been on Homecoming court. Javiery plans to attend college to become a civil engineer.
Business of the Quarter
Robert’s Meat Market and Steakhouse was recognized as the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Quarter. The restaurant was established in 1979 when they opened their first business on Simmons Drive. With a lot of hard work they were able to build a bigger store a few years later. He has continued to grow through the years and moved the business to the Pinehurst area where he has since built a Steakhouse with a banquet room. Robert has made many contributions to the Orange community. Robert has a loyal staff of employees and has stated "with good employees you can do anything"
School District Employee of the Month
Mrs. Heidi Strandberg was recognized as School District Employee of the Month by the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Strandberg is an English teacher at Mauriceville Middle School where she serves as the Panthers in Prayer sponsor. She pushes and expects the best from her students and is always willing to help them learn in any way she can. Congratulations to Mrs. Heidi Strandberg!
