Honor Student Luncheon

Honor Student Luncheon

Education of our young people is one of our top priorities.  It is an investment not only in the lives of our own children, but in the future of everyone.  Therefore, it is indeed most rewarding to see so many people maximize their educational opportunities.

One of the most successful projects undertaken each year by the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce is the Honor Student Luncheon.  The purpose of this event is to recognize and congratulate the outstanding area high school students for their academic excellence and to encourage them in their pursuit of excellence for a bright future.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible including: Dr. Pauline Hargrove; Honor Student Luncheon Chairperson, Dr. Mike Shahan; Education Vice Chairman, Mayor Brown Claybar; Guest Speaker, Brandy Slaughter; Bridge City Chamber of Commerce, Johnnie Andrus; Vidor Chamber of Commerce, All school administrators and our sponsors:

Invest in the Chamber

The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization of over 450 businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs from the cities of Orange, Pinehurst and West Orange that are here to help our local businesses thrive and do our part to promote economic development. We not only want to do our part in giving our current businesses the support they need, but we also want to encourage continued development and growth. Additionally, we want the community as a whole to understand the asset we can be as a source of information, a promoter of community involvement and much more.

The Chamber is the organization that connects businesses and leads the drive for responsible and profitable growth in the Greater Orange Area.
